Vision Divine's singer is absolutely amazing, he even holds a 19 second note out in a song, and Dream Theater is overall the best band I've ever heard in my life. Awesome shreddage ;D

I personally think the greatest all-time singer in rock and metal would have to be AC/DC's Bon Scott. He was, simply put, the best.
group = For the best rock and metal group I would have to nominate AC/DC. No other band in existance has made as many classic hard rock hits than the Ausssie Boys.
leadguitar = Following the AC/DC theme, I think that Angus Young would be the best lead-guitar. His solos are amazing, second only to his showmanship.
bass = The greatest bass-player in metal and rock would have to be Cliff Burton of Metallica. I just watched an old Metallica vid, and Cliff's solo was incredible.
drummer = As far as drummers are concerned, nobody can top Led-Zeppelin's John Bonham . . . NOBODY!
